Come Dine With Metrolink: Trains and Tram
Come Dine with Metrolink is back - and it's bigger and better than ever. By popular demand, Come Dine with Metrolink has been extended for 2012 and now takes place on three different dates across the festival period.
Still hosted by our award-winning green badge guides, each event includes free tram travel and a pre-dinner drink, starter, main course and dessert at different venues across the Metrolink network.
Intrepid diners are invited to join MFDF and Metrolink on one of the three following culinary adventures by tram.
TRAINS AND TRAM
New for 2012, Metrolink has partnered with the East Lancashire Railway to bring you a dining experience with a difference. Starting with a glass of wine at Kro Piccadilly, the group will then take the Metrolink to Bury to board the heritage steam train and travel to Ramsbottom. A pint of real ale will be enjoyed at Ramsbottom station before moving on to award winning Ramsons for a delicious three course meal. Before getting the train and the tram back to Manchester, diners have the option to visit the Chocolate Café in the heart of Ramsbottom.
Each of these special gourmet events costs just £25 per person and includes three courses, one pre-dinner drink, return tram travel to, from and during the event and the insider knowledge of our Manchester Green Badge tour guides. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
