This year's Festival Hub is happening on Albert Square for a big fat 10 days. This pop up food village will provide a gastro honeypot of food adventures with the Festival Bar, Street Food Fair, Harvey Nichols Wine Bar, Live Entertainment, and Gastro Room - the centre piece pavilion with an ever changing series of food events and activity.

Come and join the search for Manchester’s finest cocktail bartender in association with the new spiced rum from Bacardi, Bacardi Oakheart. The quest for a magical mixologist takes place during the Festival, with top notch judges, delivering their verdicts live in front of an enthusiastic crowd of cocktail fans.

Rounds include best classic and best new invention. The competition will reach its climatic conclusion with a big cocktail party at Gastro Room. Finalists will make cocktails which the crowd can sample. There will be music from a DJ and a winner will be crowned. Cocktail fans can enjoy a range of drinks offers at the bar afterwards too.
