Robinson's Pub on the Square
The big news this yera is that Robinson's Pub on the Square sees the launch of a brand new beer!
Created by theMercury-prize-winning band elbow, and brewed by Official Festival Brewer Frederic Robinson Limited, the new ale is a traditional brew with all the quality of Robbie's other fine beers and is called 'build a rocket boys!' after their last platinum selling album. The result is a golden premium session bitter at 4% ABC and will be served in cask only.
Festival goers coming to Robbies Pub on the Square will get the chance to taste the band's own brew before everyone else - plus the boys will be there to serve the first few pints!
The beer will be available from 5.30pm on Thursday 13th October.
In addition to build a rocket boys! the Pub on the Square will be serving all of the Robinson's award winning ales as well as the special Festival Ale 'manchester Icon' and the internationally acclaimed Old Tom which took home the title for World's Best Ale in 2009.
With something to uit all palettes, real-ale-virgins and CAMRA stalwarts alike, the Robinson's Pub on the Square at the Festival Hub is sure to be an ale-lovers paradise... complete with pub games and homely furnishings it's a little pop-up ale haven!
Beers on offer will include:
