Goatober Manchester

Goatober Manchester

Sunday 8th October 19:30 at The Koffee Pot, M4 1LE

Goatober is the UK’s month-long celebration of goat meat, making use of male billy goats, who to date have been euthanised at birth as a waste product of the dairy industry.  During October, restaurants nationwide are putting a goat dish pride of place on their menus to urge diners to try this delicious but much under-used meat. On Sunday 8 October, during the Manchester Food and Drink Festival, Darren Goodwin (Grafene), Mary-Ellen McTague (Manchester Art Gallery Café), Richard Sharples (Hispi) and James Whetlor (Cabrito Goat Meat) are cooking a 4-course menu using kid goat meat or dairy in every dish.

Tickets are £40 per person and available to buy here.
