MFDF Presents: Lunch in the Suburbs
As last year’s Lunch in the Suburbs was such a success, MFDF is bringing this fabulous experience back but with two fantastic menus. The event will be running over two separate days, so that you have the chance to dine in the suburb of Ramsbottom. WHAT IT IS?Three of Ramsbottom’s best restaurants are teaming up with MFDF to celebrate this and stage an one-off experience for Festival goers. Three of the jewels in the Rammy crown will each be hosting Festival revellers for an extra special course each, as visitors are invited into each for a true gastronomic relay of an event.
HOW WILL IT WORK?Sanminis, Ramsons, and the Chocolate Café, all within a stones throw from each other in Ramsbottom, will host a unique event as part of the MFDF festival. The event will run on two days during the festival, Sunday 3rd October and Saturday 9th October. Two sittings will be available throughout each day, and tickets will be booked via MFDF website.
The event will follow the following structure:
First Sitting 12.00pm: Starter by Sanmini'sA sharing platter will be served showcasing the best of the authentic Indian food that Sanmini's is acclaimed for.
1.15pm: Main Course by RamsonsAttendees will then proceed to the award-winning Ramsons for the second course. Guests will experience the finest, locally produced fare in the North West hosted by local food hero Chris Ramson himself.
2.30pm: Dessert at the Chocolate CaféThe gourmet relay will be finished off with an indulgent dessert from the acclaimed Chocolate Cafe, and a carefully matched dessert wine.
3.15pm: Ends, guests enjoy Ramsbottom!Guests will proceed to one of the other fantastic local bars or pubs for a digestive, coffees, or simply make their way home.
Second Sitting2.00pm- Starter at Sanmini's
3.15pm- Main course at Ramsons
4.45pm- Dessert at the Chocolate Café
6pm- Guests will proceed to a local bar and enjoy an evening drink
