MFDF21 is bringing a meat free curry feast to the City

Tickets are now on sale for the MFDF Curry Club - the first of Manchester Food and Drink Festival’s ‘Hub Takeover’ events at Cathedral Gardens. A festival feast like never before, the entire Festival Hub will be the venue for an undercover, al fresco Indian street food celebration on Tuesday 21st September.

Attendees will enjoy a mouth-watering vegan and vegetarian banquet prepared by some of the most exciting Indian restaurants in Greater Manchester. The evening will be hosted by city centre based Bundobust and Dishoom;  Levenshulme’s Aunti Ji’s; Burnage based Sanskruti and Lily’s of Ashton, as the biggest hitters in the South Asian cuisine come together for a collaborative and celebratory curry night to remember.

Each restaurant will be cooking up the banquet on site and serving their own favourite signature dishes, street food style. Guests can expect Chaats, Gujariti specialities and amazing sides, finishing off with Lily’s widely renowned handmade sweets, all in a glorious tribute to the region’s incredible and diverse Indian food scene.

The gathering will be sound-tracked by an uplifting mix of Bollywood, Bhangra and British chart sounds provided by local heroes, The Desi Jockeys.

For those who aren’t lucky enough to get a ticket to this highlight of the festival programme, Festival headline sponsors, Just Eat, will be curating some special offers from some of the best Indian restaurants across the City on the same night so everyone across Greater Manchester can get involved from home!

The event will start at 7.00pm and includes a welcome drink and a three course collaborative menu.

Tickets are £40 and can be bought here
