A Time to Come Together in Hospitality

A group of specialist businesses have come together to offer a helping hand to the hospitality industry. The group, called The Core Collective, has formed with the aim of giving hospitality businesses advice and guidance during lockdown on how to navigate through the uncertainty that the industry currently faces.

The hospitality sector was one of the first hit by the virus outbreak with many businesses now facing a very uncertain future. The Core Collective hopes that through sharing knowledge and advice, businesses can now at least start thinking about what the future might look like and how they can prepare.

The companies that have come together are a collective of hospitality experts who are each specialists in their fields. Covering all areas of hospitality including; operations, food and beverage development, finance, HR, training and recruitment, compliance, health and safety, profitability, operational support, IT support, marketing and sales, digital, brand and design. The Core Collective has many years of experience, helping develop and grow some of the UK’s biggest hospitality brands and have worked with many companies including; Living Ventures, Gusto, The Alchemist, New World Trading Company, Casual Dining Group, Ghetto Golf, Giraffe, Slim Chickens and San Carlo to name a few.

Looking for positives in the current situation is difficult, but The Core Collective want to shine a light on opportunities that may present themselves during these unprecedented times. The whole world is adjusting to a ‘new normal’ and only by helping one another will businesses have a chance to survive.

Louise Kemp, Director of Nineteen Agency said “There is such uncertainty in the hospitality sector right now and it is hard for many businesses to see how they will survive this. All involved in The Core Collective love the industry and passionately want to help wherever we can, we believe that by working together we can all give each other a helping hand and hopefully survive. There are lots of people doing some amazing work fighting for our industry and we hope that the government listens to calls for a #NationalTimeOut to give businesses a chance of getting through this.”
