MFDF are delighted that Thwaites Brewery have 'stepped up to the plate' as part of an exciting new 3 year partnership. Thwaites will become the Official Brewer to the Festival, supporting the event through to 2016.

Whether you're participating in the festival or not, snap up a page in the MFDF Festival Brochure. It's the hottest food and drink guide of the year, we print about 100,000 copies and we distribute them FREE with the Manchester Evening News. So it makes sense to be in there - you can use the ad to promote your Festival event or offer, or you can just advertise your venue.

MFDF is the UK's largest and highest profile urban food and drink festival, established in 1997.

Last year the festival attracted tens of thousands of visitors, and generated over £3.5 million pounds worth of media coverage. During the Festival the hub played host to a fantastic street food fair and independent producers market.

 At 17 years old the Manchester Food and Drink Festival is the biggest urban food event in the land.  

The centre of the action will be Albert Square once again, but there's lots of chances to stage events at your establishment too. It's not just about being part of an amazing event; it's about showcasing your business and generating really valuable promotion for your establishment.

The MFDF Awards are the highest profile in the region - hotly anticipated by the industry, and the best-known and regarded amongst a consumer audience - they continue to provide a benchmark of excellence and quality.

The MFDF Award Shortlists comprise of 6 nominees in each category and are curated by the MFDF Judging Panel. In case you didn't already know, the panel is made up of the region's leading food writers and experts. Whilst their decisions are final and you don't have to put yourself forward to be nominated, we'd like to invite your business to tell the judges why you think you should be in the shortlist and for what category.
