Hotel Football do live cook-off at MFDF

Ex-England and Manchester United footballer, Gary Neville will be swapping the pitch for pans when he takes part in
a live cook-off at the Manchester Food and Drink Festival. Gary is taking to the stage ahead of the opening of his and Ryan Giggs' exciting new hotel, Hotel Football. The unique hotel is set to open opposite Old Trafford later in the year and has impressive footballing credentials, with Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Philip Neville also involved.

On the night Gary will be joined by the hotel's executive chef, Brendan Fyldes, and creative director, two-star Michelin chef, Michael Wignall. The team will be giving festival goers and the people of Manchester an exclusive preview of the delicious food they can expect from Hotel Football when it opens. Gary, Brendan and Michael will demonstrate signature dishes from the hotel's restaurant, Café Football and attendees will be able to try some of the culinary delights for themselves.

With signature dishes, like The Boss Burger and CaféFootball Sausage Roll, a sausage roll which restaurant critic Jay Rayner described as "shockingly good", there won't be a dry mouth in the house as guests experience traditional, wholesome produce transformed into something extraordinary.

Feeding a love of food and football, the 133 bed hotel and conference facility will capture that authentic football culture, with hints to the great game running throughout the menu and décor, making it the go-to destination for fans, families, business users and tourists.

The menu captures the essence of what the hotel has to offer - top quality food combined with memorable experiences, topped off with a nod to the sport the team feels so passionate about. The hotel will offer the ultimate match day experience too, with bespoke hospitality packages, as well as being home to The Old Trafford Supporters Club.
